Tuition is to be paid monthly and covers the time spent with the student during their lessons, time spent on administrative tasks (website maintenance, video recital editing, rescheduling lessons, re-writing sheet music, invoicing, preparing monthly newsletters, etc.) and other costs (online studio management software, in-person recital costs, office and game supplies, etc.) 

The fee for each month from September 2025 to June 2026 will be the same, regardless of how many lessons the student takes in that month. Based on the lesson length, the monthly fees are:

• $120/month for students taking 30 minute lessons

• $180/month for students taking 45 minute lessons

• $240/month for students taking 60 minute lessons

Books or sheet music must be purchased by the student and will be included on the invoice when needed.

Lesson fees are non-refundable.

Payment for lessons is due monthly, on the first lesson of the month, via cash, cheque or e-transfer. Invoices will be emailed on the last day of each month for the next month's lessons. 

Please arrive on time and ensure that in-person students are picked up promptly (no extra time will be given). 

A make-up lesson may be booked for any missed lessons and must be done so by August 31st, 2026 or the lesson is forfeited. Refunds for missed lessons will not be given. Alternatively, you may contact me to reschedule your lesson by switching with another student within the same week, if possible.

Make-up lessons will not be issued if the student is absent with no prior notice given. Please respect the fact that I have reserved a weekly time for your lesson and I cannot make up or refund a forgotten lesson.

Virtual lessons are held on Google Meet. Students who attend in-person lessons have the option of scheduling a virtual lesson if they are not physically able to attend for any reason. For all virtual lessons, please be sure your device is charged or plugged in before the lesson.

Students may choose to withdraw from lessons at any time. No refunds will be issued should they choose to cease lessons before the end of the month.

Disregard for these policies and disruptive or disrespectful behaviour during the lesson time (or another student’s lesson time) will be dealt with immediately and may result in termination of lessons.
